I will always remember Adoria as the first person to greet my wife and I at our first campout when she and Yolanda sprinted out and made us feel immediately comfortable, "Hi! I'm Adorable."
Inspired by their friends "Tee" and Yolanda, James and Adoria started their RV journey in 2021. They're not only part of the Cruisers but also members of the San Diego Allegros RV club. Both are deeply involved in the Cruisers' leadership, serving their second terms on the board. James is the club's current President, and Adoria serves as the Treasurer.
Originally from Southern California, James grew up in South Central Los Angeles and Adoria in Carson. Professionally, James is an executive at a large pharmaceutical conglomerate, and Adoria is a government contractor.
James's most memorable RVing experience was at Camp Pendleton, where he found watching the Marines train on the beach exhilarating. Adoria, on the other hand, particularly enjoyed their time in the Santa Cruz Mountains. They both eagerly anticipate a future trip to Florida.
Their RV travels include a more than four-month cross-country tour with a small group, visiting iconic locations such as Niagara Falls, most of the Eastern Seaboard, and culminating at the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival. Prior to that, their initial long adventure was a six-week trip that took them on a tour through the Pacific Northwest.
James and Adoria found the Cruisers while looking for camping clubs to join. After attending a regional event and being introduced to NAARVA, they became members. They value the fellowship and opportunities to get to know other people as their favorite part of being a Cruiser.
